BBC Television Centre

London, England

BBC Television Centre is an iconic site in West London, UK that has been home to the British Broadcasting Corporation since the 1950’s. Together with partners Mitsui Fudosan UK and Stanhope plc, AIMCo has submitted a planning application to redevelop the site to a mixed-use estate with BBC remaining as a tenant at the property.

Bell Trinity Square

Toronto, Canada

A ten year $175 million first mortgage secured by Bell Trinity Square, a 938,898 square foot Class A two tower office complex in Toronto, Ontario.  The financing assisted with the acquisition of the property by an institutional investor. 

Eighth Avenue Place

Calgary, Canada

Eighth Avenue Place is a premier twin office tower development in Calgary, Alberta. The project, comprised of a 41 storey west tower currently under construction and a 49 storey east tower, is 98.3% leased, and represents one of the first major AAA office developments in Canada to be awarded the pre-certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum status, the highest environmental standard.




Grupo SAESA is the third largest regulated electricity distributor in Chile, a country with strong GDP growth and a well-established regulatory system. SAESA Group owns and operates more than 55,000 kilometres of distribution and transmission lines. It delivers electricity to over 700,000 customers, about 16% of Chile’s population, in an operating area measuring over 44,000 square kilometres.



Montreal, Canada

Kruger Energy’s Montérégie LP (KEMONT) wind farm is a late-stage, greenfield development project with a design capacity of 101 MW. The wind project was commissioned in December 2012 and includes 44 wind turbines erected on agricultural land in five Montérégie municipalities, located southeast of Montreal, Québec.


KMC Mining

Edmonton, Canada

KMC’s operations are focused on the open pit mining industry, and in particular, the Canadian oilsands sector. Within that focus, KMC is involved in a wide range of mining activities that include site preparation, tailings dyke and haul road construction, overburden removal, reclamation, as well as crushing and hauling ore.


VUE Theatre

London, England (Also Central Europe)

Vue Entertainment (“Vue”), based in London, UK, is a world class operator and developer of modern state-of-the-art multiplex cinemas.  Vue is currently the third largest cinema operator in Europe, and over the last three years has doubled the number of cinemas under its ownership from 70 to 147 and nearly doubled its screens from 679 to 1,335. 


Forestry Investment Trust


AIMCo acquired the majority share of land assets of the former Great Southern Plantations, a 2,500 square kilometer diversified portfolio of prime forestry and agricultural land, spread across six Australian states.  This investment is managed by New Forests Pty Ltd.  It offers our clients some interesting options: the forest land can be retained for forestry production, or can be converted to agricultural or other use.

Incorporated in 1884, Milacron is a leading global supplier of plastics-processing technologies and industrial fluids.  Milacron’s technologies are segmented into five business units: Milacron Plastics Machinery, Mold-Masters Hot Runner and Process Control Systems, DME Mold Technologies, Milacron Aftermarket Parts & Services, and CIMCOOL Fluid Technologies.  Milacron employs approximately 4,100 individuals in 150 sales and service facilities worldwide.  The company has an installed base of more than 60,000 machines, maintains 30,000 customer relationships across a range of industries, and sells its products in more than 100 countries across six continents.


CORE Shopping Centre

Calgary, Canada

AIMCo has held an interest in the CORE, three major office towers and a shopping complex anchored by TD Square in downtown Calgary. The Core is home to nearly 140 retailers on four levels in three city blocks.  Recent renovations include the largest canopy of structural glass in the world which now floods the CORE’s retail “High Street” with natural light.  The property is a candidate for Gold certification of the Canada Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) for Commercial Interiors program, which recognizes high achievement in environmentally sensitive design and construction of renovated space.
